Egyptian Cosmetic Knife. c. 1400 BC. The bronze original is in the form of an Ibex standing erect on its hind legs upon a crescentic knife blade for cosmetic use. This is a representation of the elegant style of designs utilising animals as cosmetic implements in the XVIII dynasty. WAA Dept. British Museum, England. Height 135mm
